For a healthy married life the couple should have complete knowledge of their own respective bodies and reproductive parts. The couple should also be aware of their partner’s body and its functioning.
There should be intimacy, they should frankly discuss their sexual life and how they feel and think about it. Any stress, issue or problems in sexual life should not be kept hidden.
Male Reproductive parts
The male reproductive system consists of a number of sex organs that play a role in the process of human reproduction. These organs are located on the outside of the body and within the pelvis.
The main male sex organs are the penis and the testicles. which produce semen and sperm, which, as part of sexual intercourse, fertilize an ovum in the female’s body; the fertilized ovum (zygote) develops into a fetus, which is later born as an infant.
Female Reproductive parts
The reproductive system in women is made up of external and internal organs that function in human reproduction. These are found in the lower abdomen, the part of the body below the umbilicus (belly button). This area is often referred to as the pelvic area.
The internal sex organs are the uterus, the Fallopian tubes and the ovaries.
The external sex organs are also known as the genitals and these are the organs of the vulva.
